AirBuds Continues New Content Approach With Reviews From Popular Youtube Tech Channels

AirBuds, creator of the Most Comfortable Earbuds, is continuing their ongoing content strategy by reaching out to popular Youtube 'gadget' channels for product reviews. With these video reviews, AirBuds hopes to reach an audience of young, tech-savvy individuals looking for new products.

In the latest phase of their new online content strategy, AirBuds, creator of the Most Comfortable Earbuds, has reached out to popular Youtube ‘gadget’ channels for reviews. In the coming weeks, three expert tech reviewers will be posting videos to their Youtube channels weighing in on the latest generation of AirBuds headphones.  

The goal in contacting these reviewers is not merely a ploy for free advertising, but rather a way of eliciting honest, comprehensive reviews that will further brand awareness while also encouraging consumer trust.

They want to hear them from someone who is completely uninvested in the product, someone they can trust, but also someone who is really knowledgeable about the latest tech products on the market."

But when it comes down to it, they don’t want to hear those things from us,” said April Bohnert, content strategist for AirBuds. “They want to hear them from someone who is completely uninvested in the product, someone they can trust, but also someone who is really knowledgeable about the latest tech products on the market.”

It is no coincidence that these Youtube channels are specifically targeted toward the same customer base AirBuds works to reach. Young, tech-savvy individuals are a large part of AirBuds demographic, and they are always on the hunt for new products.

“Working with these Youtube reviewers enables us to reach a part of our customer base that is really enthusiastic about the latest tech gadgets,” said Nick Waterhouse, CEO and founder of AirBuds. “But the greatest benefit, for our company, is the invaluable feedback these videos reviews will provide. These guys see a lot of new tech gear, and this puts them in a unique position to give us some really useful and productive feedback about how we can improve our earbuds.”

In order to maintain objectivity, all reviews are completely unpaid. AirBuds’ only request was that reviewers do a full un-boxing of the product, walking potential customers through the entire AirBuds experience. This will include everything from the sleek packaging to the tangle-free cable and hands-free Smart-mic to how to properly wear the earbuds. With the added element of video, customers will be able to actually see the product, in and out of the box, before they purchase it.

The first review, from Youtube user Paul and Tech, was posted last month and received hundreds of views in the matter of days. The remaining two reviews will be posted later this month and will be featured on the AirBuds blog
